This traditional Malay village is surrounded by acres of padi fi elds, mangroves, coconut estates and oil palm plantations. Within the small population, you will soon feel part of the local community. This homestay is known for its wayangkulitjawa, or Javanese shadow play theatre, accompanied by the rousing strains of the gamelan orchestra. Visitors will be mesmerised by the marhaban singing choir, and martial arts demonstration of silatrencengacheh. At the SME factories, you can learn to make keropoklekor.

Getting There:
The drive from Kuala Lumpur takes about 2 and half hours.Either taxi or bus to the nearest town of Sungai Besar town. It is best for homestay visitors to make prior arrangement with Homestay representative or the best way to get there. Alternatively, you can also plan your travel with a tour agency.
